Nominations for 2008 AEE Mid-Atlantic Regional Awards
TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO THANK A MENTOR or HONOR AN OUTSTANDING COLLEAGUE!!!
Nominate that person for an AEE Mid-Atlantic Region award! The Mid-
Atlantic Region awards will be presented at the regional conference in
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in April 2008. The awards will recognize those individuals and organizations in our region who have contributed to the field of experiential education and inspired others to reach or continue to maintain a high standard of excellence.
- Individual (practitioner or educator)
- Veteran / Statesman (someone with 12 or more years involvement in experiential education)
- Rising Star / Novice (those in the field of experiential education for three years or less)
- Organization (Program that has contributed and displays the ideals of AEE)
- Phil Costello Award (a self starting entrepreneur who encompasses the legacy of Phil Costello)
Nominations will be reviewed by the region’s state representatives & council.
Nomination Process:
1. Tell us about the party you are nominating and the award for which you would like the person to be considered. Include: Nominee’s name, title, organization, address, phone number and email address.
2. Tell us about yourself. Include: your name, relationship to nominee, your address, phone; email and the best way to reach you (in case we need clarification).
3. Write a short narrative that explains why the nominee should be considered. Use your experiences and provide specific examples. Encourage others to submit original, supporting nominations for this person / organization as well.
4. Nominations will remain in consideration for two years. You cannot nominate yourself.
5. Submit nominations by email or mail by March 15, 2008 to:
